A Dream is a Wish your Heart makes ~

A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you're fast asleep
In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling thru
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
the dream that you wish will come true

This weekend I had the grand opportunity to take my four year old niece ( if you ask her almost 5 ) to Disney on Ice.  What a spectacular show !  Two hours filled with twirling and dancing prince and princesses on ice skates. Music Galore and beautiful costumes!  It was so much fun.  My little Paige sat in her seat and watched with intent the entire show while munching on a hot dog and waving her princess light to the beat of the songs.  All the while in her Belle costume she insisted on wearing. I am so glad she did because every little girl in the place was adorned in her princess finest.  It was a treasure.

 So why this post ? Because I sat and thought during the Cinderella piece and listened to her sing her famous song – A dream is a wish your heart makes – as Paige sang along knowing word for word.  I sat and cried , I cry a lot when it comes to Paige and her innocence and her zest for life and her overall excitement just to spend time with her Zia (that’s me) – I promised myself that I will continue to agvocate not only for my fellow aggies and for my family and our farm but for this little girl who has so much potential to do so many amazing things !  She believes all things are possible and that no matter what is handed to you , you will overcome it , you just have to believe.
